Day 1: ARRIVAL / AMMAN AIRPORT – AMMAN: Upon arrival you’ll be met by Representative who will assist you through immigrations and customs, and You will be escorted to Amman hotel where you will Accommodate. Dinner & overnight.
Day 2: AMMAN – JERASH – AJLUN – AMMAN: Breakfast, Visit the city of Jerash, one of the cities of Decapolis. Jerash is located north of Amman, approximately 45 km away and an hour away by road. During the excursion, we will visit the Arc de Triomphe, the Oval Square, the Cardo, the Colonnade, the Temple of Aphrodite and finally, the Roman Theater, with wonderful acoustics. Then we will visit the Ajlun Castle, fortress built in 1185 and rebuilt later in the thirteenth century, by the Mamluks after their destruction by the Mongols. It is a castle from the time of the Crusaders, located on top of the mountain and from which you can contemplate a beautiful view. At the end of the visit, return to Amman. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: AMMAN – MUKAWIR – UMM AR RASAS – KINGS WAY – PETRA: After breakfast, starting the tour visiting Mukawir, is a great example of that as it was the location of events that greatly affected religious history. Situated about an hour away from Madaba on the picturesque King’s Highway, the continue to Umm Ar-Rasas is a town unique in its combination of different civilizations. This is exemplified in its Roman, Byzantine and Islamic heritage. Due to its unification of Roman style architecture and its embellishment by early local Christians, well over a hundred years after the beginning of Muslim rule, the town has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After finishing the visit Continue the day driving southward via the Kings Road. One of the oldest trade routes in the world which runs 200 miles along Jordan’s hilly backbone. in the evening, Arrive to Petra. check in – dinner & overnight.
DAY 4: PETRA FULL DAY VISIT – WADI RUM: Breakfast. Full day dedicated to the visit of the pink city, the capital of the Nabataeans. During the visit, we will know the most important and representative monuments carved in the rock by the Nabataeans. The Treasury, famous and internationally known monument taken to the cinema in one of the Indiana Jones films, the Colored Tombs, the Royal Tombs, etc. Petra is one of those places in the world where you have to go at least once in your life. At the end of the visit, in the afternoon, Transfer to Wadi Rum Camp For accommodation. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: WADI RUM 4×4 – DEAD SEA: Excursion in the desert of Wadi Rum and ride in 4×4 vehicles driven by the Bedouins 2 hours, consists of a small excursion in the lunar landscape of this desert. We will enter the pink sands of this desert, which has a special charm provided by the granite massifs that nature has modeled with whimsical shapes. Finishing the visit transfer to the Dead Sea Hotel to enjoy and relax last day at the lowest point on earth Imagine floating in the buoyant, warm, super-salty waters of the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: DEAD SEA – MADABA – NEBO – AMMAN: After breakfast. In the morning free time for Bath in the Dead Sea then Departure to Madaba to visit the Orthodox Church of St. George, where the first mosaic map of Palestine is located. Continue to Mount Nebo to admire the panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea from the mountain. This place is important because it was the last place visited by Moses and from where the prophet saw the promised land, which he would never reach. It continues to Mukawir Dinner and overnight.
DAY 7: AMMAN CITY TOUR – AL SALT – AMMAN: Breakfast. Visit of the city of Amman. Its most important avenues, the Citadel, the Archaeological Museum, and the Roman Theater, Then drive toward Al Salt City. In Ottoman times Salt was the administrative center of Balqa, a province encompassed by present-day Jordan which dominated the central region. you’ll visit Al Salt Archaeological Museum contains pottery exhibits from the Chalcolithic period (4500-3300 BC) — a collection of water jars and ceramic lamps dating back to the bronze age while the Byzantine era is characterized by glassware including church lamps. Some mosaics taken from a Byzantine church in South Shuneh are on display as is an exemplary exhibit of antique photography.
DAY 8: AMMAN – AIRPORT: Breakfast, On due time – drive to Amman Queen Alia Airport for Departure where we will wish you a safe flight home with very good memories of this journey.
