Day 1: ARRIVAL / AMMAN AIRPORT – AMMAN: Upon arrival you’ll be met by Representative who will assist you through immigrations and customs, and You will be escorted to Amman hotel where you will Accommodate. Dinner & overnight.

Day 2: AMMAN – JERASH – AJLUN – AMMAN: Breakfast, Visit the city of Jerash, one of the cities of Decapolis. Jerash is located north of Amman, approximately 45 km away and an hour away by road. During the excursion, we will visit the Arc de Triomphe, the Oval Square, the Cardo, the Colonnade, the Temple of Aphrodite and finally, the Roman Theater, with wonderful acoustics. Then we will visit the Ajlun Castle, fortress built in 1185 and rebuilt later in the thirteenth century, by the Mamluks after their destruction by the Mongols. It is a castle from the time of the Crusaders, located on top of the mountain and from which you can contemplate a beautiful view. At the end of the visit, return to Amman. Dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 3: AMMAN – MADABA – NEBO – KERAK – PETRA: After breakfast, Departure to Madaba to visit the Orthodox Church of St. George, where the first mosaic map of Palestine is located. Continue to Mount Nebo to admire the panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea from the mountain. This place is important because it was the last place visited by Moses and from where the prophet saw the promised land, which he would never reach. We continue south and we will stop to enjoy a visit to the Kerak Castle is the Crusader fortress, the most important in the area after Crac of the Knights in Syria. Departure to Petra. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: PETRA FULL DAY VISIT – WADI RUM: Breakfast. Full day dedicated to the visit of the pink city, the capital of the Nabataeans. During the visit, we will know the most important and representative monuments carved in the rock by the Nabataeans. The Treasury, famous and internationally known monument taken to the cinema in one of the Indiana Jones films, the Colored Tombs, the Royal Tombs, etc. Petra is one of those places in the world where you have to go at least once in your life. At the end of the visit, in the afternoon, Transfer to Wadi Rum Camp For accommodation. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: WADI RUM 4×4 – AMMAN: Excursion in the desert of Wadi Rum and ride in 4×4 vehicles driven by the Bedouins 2 hours, consists of a small excursion in the lunar landscape of this desert. We will enter the pink sands of this desert, which has a special charm provided by the granite massifs that nature has modeled with whimsical shapes. Finishing the visit transfer to the Amman Hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: AMMAN – UMM QAIS – PELLA – DEAD SEA: After breakfast. Departure to the ruins of the ancient city of Um Qais, also known as Gadara. This is one of the brightest ancient Greco-Roman cities in the Decapolis. A photographer’s paradise, the ruins sit at an altitude of 1,700 feet. They have a magnificent view of the Sea of Galilee (Lake Tiberias) in the holy land, the Golan Heights in Syria, the Palestinian Territories in the north and the Yarmouk Valley in Jordan in the south. Here you will visit three black basalt theaters, a temple and a colonnaded street. Continue to the ruins of the ancient city of Pella, also known as Taqabat Fahl, which is located in the Jordan Valley. Learn about 6000 years of history, from the Stone Age to medieval Islamic times. Admire the picturesque surroundings of the Jordan Valley as you explore this vast historic site. After Pella, we head towards the Dead Sea the lowest point on the world.  Dinner & Overnight

DAY 7: DEAD SEA FREE DAY: Breakfast. Free day to enjoy and relax last day at the lowest point on earth Imagine floating in the buoyant, warm, super-salty waters of the Dead Sea.  Dinner & overnight.

DAY 8: DEAD SEA – AIRPORT: Breakfast, On due time – drive to Amman Queen Alia Airport for Departure where we will wish you a safe flight home with very good memories of this journey.
