Day 1: ARRIVAL / AMMAN AIRPORT – AMMAN: Upon arrival you’ll be met by our Representative who will assist you through immigrations and customs, and You will be escorted to Amman hotel where you will Accommodate. Dinner & overnight.
DAY 2: AMMAN – AJLUN HIKE EXPERIENCE – AMMAN: Finishing breakfast, you’ll start experience Ajlun forest by enjoying the Rock Rose Trail hike. Around 8 km hike which will test your fitness level for about 3-4 hours, The first half of the trail is uphill and the second half is downhill; there are steep scrambles enroute. the trail is named after the flowers that can be seen around the trail every spring, this hiking loop passes through thick woodlands, orchards, farms and villages in and around the reserve. It offers beautiful views of the West Bank, Syria, and the Jordanian countryside. About halfway through the hike, observe the wine and olive press from the Byzantine and Roman eras, and just before reaching the end of the trail, rest in the shade of a large Maloul tree. Once finished transfer to Amman. Dinner & overnight.
DAY 3: AMMAN – MADABA – NEBO – SHOBAK PANORAMIC– PETRA: Breakfast. Departure to Madaba to visit the Orthodox Church of St. George, where the first mosaic map of Palestine is located. Continue to Mount Nebo to admire the panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea from the mountain. This place is important because it was the last place visited by Moses and from where the prophet saw the promised land, which he would never reach. It continues to the castle of Shobak, Solitary reminder of the former glory of the Crusaders, built in 1115 by King Baudouin, was built as a defense of the road between Damascus and Egypt. The Castle is located less than an hour north of Petra Formerly known as “Mont Real or Mons Regalis”, it is nestled on the side of a mountain, on a large area of fruit trees. Departure to Petra. Dinner. & overnight.
DAY 4: PETRA FULL DAY VISIT – WADI RUM: After breakfast. a full day dedicated visit of the lost Nabataeans city of Petra. Start with a morning ride on a Bedouins guided horse, you’ll pass through fabled SIQ, an immense sandstone, which opens out to reveal the treasury. Continue to see hundreds of ancient Temples, Royal Tombs, Roman theatres and houses. At convenience, Transfer to Wadi Rum the desert of Lawrence of Arabia for Dinner & overnight.
DAY 5: WADI RUM TOUR JEEP 4*4 (2 HOURS)– AMMAN: Breakfast. Excursion in the desert of Wadi Rum and ride in 4×4 vehicles driven by the Bedouins 2 hours, consists of a small excursion in the lunar landscape of this desert. We will enter the pink sands of this desert, which has a special charm provided by the granite massifs that nature has modeled with whimsical shapes. After finishing the tour transfer to Amman. Dinner and overnight
DAY 6: AMMAN CITY TOUR – JERASH – AMMAN: After having breakfast. Visit of the city of Amman. Its most important avenues, the Citadel, the Archaeological Museum and the Roman Theater. Continue to the city of Jerash, one of the cities of Decapolis. Jerash is located north of Amman, approximately 45 km away and an hour away by road. During the excursion, we will visit the Arc de Triomphe, the Oval Square, the Cardo, the Colonnade, the Temple of Aphrodite and finally, the Roman Theater, with wonderful acoustics. Once finishing the visist transfer to Amman Hotel. Dinner and overnight
DAY 7: AMMAN – WADI MUJIB – DEAD SEA: Breakfast. In the morning, your driver will take you to Wadi Mujib. Here, you can hike this impressive water canyon (Siq trail hike): You will swim, hike and climb up waterfalls! It’s around 2-hour canyon water trekking. Back to dead sea hotel to enjoy and relax last day at the lowest point on earth Imagine floating in the buoyant, warm, super-salty waters of the Dead Sea. Dinner & overnight.
Note: the nature reserve of Wadi Mujib may be closed, depending on the weather and the water level with the rains, if you cannot visit the canyon with water will be another alternative route in Wadi el Mujib the 3 hrs dirt trekking around Wadi Mujib. Dinner & overnight.
DAY 8: DEAD SEA – AMMAN AIRPORT: Breakfast. On due time – drive to Amman Queen Alia Airport for Departure where we will wish you a safe flight home with very good memories of this journey.
