Day 1: ARRIVAL / AMMAN AIRPORT – AMMAN: Upon arrival you’ll be met by Representative who will assist you through immigrations and customs, and You will be escorted to Amman hotel where you will Accommodate. Dinner & overnight.
Day 2: AMMAN – AJLUN HIKE EXPERIENCE – JERASH – AMMAN: Today After finishing Breakfast, you’ll start Ajlun experience by enjoying the Rock Rose Trail hike in Ajlun forest. Around 8 km hike which will test your fitness level for about 3-4 hours, The first half of the trail is uphill, and the second half is downhill; there are steep scrambles enroute. the trail is named after the flowers that can be seen around the trail every spring, this hiking loop passes through thick woodlands, orchards, farms, and villages in and around the reserve. It offers beautiful views of the West Bank, Syria, and the Jordanian countryside. About halfway through the hike, observe the wine and olive press from the Byzantine and Roman eras, and just before reaching the end of the trail, rest in the shade of a large Maloul tree. Once finished Transfer to City of Jerash! Visit the splendidly preserved Greco-Roman city of Jerash, the most complete remaining city of the Decapolis. Departure to Amman hotel. Dinner & overnight.
DAY 3: AMMAN – AL SALT – KINGS WAY – DANA BIOSPHERE RESERVE: After breakfast, drive toward Al Salt City. In Ottoman times Salt was the administrative center of Balqa, a province encompassed by present-day Jordan which dominated the central region. you’ll visit Al Salt Archaeological Museum contains pottery exhibits from the Chalcolithic period (4500-3300 BC) — a collection of water jars and ceramic lamps dating back to the bronze age while the Byzantine era is characterized by glassware including church lamps. Some mosaics taken from a Byzantine church in South Shuneh are on display as is an exemplary exhibit of antique photography. Continue the day driving southward via the Kings Road. One of the oldest trade routes in the world which runs 200 miles along Jordan’s hilly backbone. in the evening, Arrive to Dana Biosphere Reserve Guest House. check in – dinner & overnight.
DAY 4: DANA White Dome TRAIL – PETRA: After Breakfast, another trail to accomplish – The White Dome Trail – the distance is also around 8 km and will take 3-4 hours to finish. This trail contours the huge escarpments of Wadi Dana between Dana Guest House and the Rummana campsite. Passing through the terraced gardens of the village, the trail offers breathtaking views of the canyon-like Wadi. Once finished departing toward Petra Hotel for dinner & overnight.
Day 5: PETRA FULL DAY VISIT – WADI RUM: After breakfast. a full day dedicated visit of the lost Nabataeans city of Petra. Start with a morning ride on a Bedouins guided horse, you’ll pass through fabled SIQ, an immense sandstone, which opens out to reveal the treasury. Continue to see hundreds of ancient Temples, Royal Tombs, Roman theatres, and houses. At convenience, depart to Wadi Rum return to your hotel for dinner & overnight.
Day 6: WADI RUM 4×4 – AQABA – DEAD SEA: After breakfast. Depart to the magical desert of Wadi Rum, home of “Lawrence of Arabia”. Enjoy a mint tea or cardamom coffee before accommodating in a Bedouin Style Tent. You can enjoy so many activities in this magnificent desert dunes. you might like to surf in the sand by yourself, wondering around the camp enjoying a Camel ride, 4×4 ride touring this moon-like landscaped desert in a Bedouin driven 4×4 Vehicle viewing the desert dunes and wadi rum main landmarks. Then depart to visit Aqaba (optional snorkeling then transfer to Dead sea. Dinner & overnight
DAY 7: DEAD SEA FREE DAY: Breakfast. Free day to relax at the lowest point on earth Imagine floating in the buoyant, warm, super-salty waters of the Dead Sea.. Dinner & overnight.
Note: the nature reserve of Wadi Mujib may be closed, depending on the weather and the water level with the rains, if you cannot visit the canyon with water will be another alternative route in Wadi el Mujib the 3 hrs dirt trekking around Wadi Mujib. Dinner & overnight.
DAY 8: DEAD SEA – AIRPORT: Breakfast. On due time – drive to Amman Queen Alia Airport for Departure where we will wish you a safe flight home with very good memories of this journey.
